id be happy driving a old beater too, i loves a beater. as long as it doesnt leave me on the side of the road, only twice ive been left on the sidelines on this drive to work over 20 years, one i fixed, one time i had to leave it. both times VW late 80s golfs. ive had some real shitters here and there.
