Hey @davidvanvoris I just picked up a TH400 out of a 79 camera im going to rebuild for my 5.4 DOHC swap on my 96 Cobra. I was very worried about this after some said it won't be steerable at all. After seeing this it made me much more comfortable.

What do you think the car will do on the highway. What kind of speed will I hit, and what gear do you think I would be in at 40 or 50 miles an hour to start a roll race

From experience they almost never wokr just because of the simplicity of the 3 speed trans...most people just use aftermarket dashboard tachs and speedometers

tommy lee I’d guess after everything it’s probably about 4000 lbs, thag might be a little high but with it running in the 8’s thag puts it around 1100 don’t quote me tho

Watch 2nd gear bro or get the pro mod drum 36 element. If you downshift from 3rd to 2nd and aren't accelerating, you will waste sprag. I am installing pro mod drum and 36 element sprag to bulletproof my full manual th400.

I watched the video when you installed the fuel system, and you set the pumps about the same length I did mine. I’ve ran my car all the way down to 10 miles to E trying to find an e85 station. I’m sure you did, but did you install the line that connects to the passenger side tank correctly? If not, you’re car would run out at the half tank level like it’s doing.
