Dang, driving on snow and with a loaded trailer! That X3 looks like it can hold it's own for sure 🤙🏼 How was the gas mileage, if I may ask?
@AmrheinGarage4 жыл бұрын
For sure! It’s handled quite well with the trailer. I did instal a trailer brake control, so that definitely helped as well. Gas mileage was between 12-14 mpg with the loaded trailer.

@@AmrheinGarage That's not bad at all, I'm surprised! Mine has the tow hitch, but I've been wary to try it out... Good to know my friend, thank you!

Amrhein - Congrates on acquiring Chris's old car. Please get the car inside, as the weather will be a quick death to it sitting outside, even covered. These cars are not galvanized, and have a history of coming to a quick death being exposed to the elements. If you have not already done so, become a member over on 914world.com, where you will find many folks that have been down this path before you. Regards, and best to your future -

Thanks! I’m definitely excited to bring it back hopefully close to as cool as he built it! Thankfully I only had to keep it outside for a couple weeks, it has been in my garage since then. I would hate for a chassis as clean as it is to get rusty. I have learned a ton from 914world and have also picked up some parts from member as well 💯
