Driving Albania’s DEATH ROAD (PART 2)

Part 2 of 2. We take on Albanias notorious 'Death Road', a mountainside track that we were told is treachourous at the best of times. But best of times this was not with a huge storm coming in just as we begun the steep descent.

From what point was take the ferry ? Thanks!

It leaves from the town of Koman at Lake Komani, it’s easiest to get there from the direction of Shkodër 😊 the ferry leaves early in the morning (9am) and also around lunch time

Damn that’s a lot of Jerry cans on the roof of that one vehicle, 6 x 20l …..120kg on your roof behind the rear axle is not great. Do they not sell diesel in Albania?

They do sell Diesel - the Jerry cans were empty for this trip 😉

I was looking for a video to see Albania's Death Road and found this video rather disappointing. To save everyone time, please forward to 4:45 and it ends around 7 minutes in, with this 2 minutes and 15 seconds seeming generous.

Dead road ? Normal road for mercedes 240 D

Mercedes is the best off-road vehicle no doubt! Only the 80’s and 90’s ones though!
