It's a straightline car doesn't need a big brake kit especially if he's got a decent tire. A big brake kit is about heat management not stopping power

yeah because I'm curious what the civic runs. because I don't picture it getting power down at a track. I think the s650 would win simple because from a dig you are gonma get traction in the mustang. And Mclarens ive seen them run 19s 16s in the 1/4 because 570s and a few others freak out on a prepped track and even with tunes they can't figure it out. It's just a 6 was a prime example. he had a 570s that was tuned down pipe and the day of his track rental his car that was almost as quick as a 720 couldn't launch on the track

You’ll see a lot of hondas with engine swaps have the hood spacers because of fitment issues. Youre putting an engine in a car that wasnt meant for that engine

Just to give you an idea my bone stock s550 10 speed went 12.06 @ 119mph on street tires. Granted it’s a 19 and not a 24 but they are pretty close. Now I’ve got a jlt cold air, e85 tune mt et streets and 125 shot. Hoping to hit the track next Wednesday night and get a new time

Hey Drew, just wanted to let you know they make 12V AC compressors if that is what is holding you from putting AC in the mustang. There’s a company called Guchen that seems to make good quality ones. I personally haven’t used any but just thought you should know that as an option.

4:55 for around 50k the mustang gt is a good buy. about the only other car you can buy out of the box that will flat out gap a mustang gt is the m240i xdrive in that price range. if the mustang ecu wasnt locked id already have one.

The mclaren is a tough decision. I would say it boils down to if it's more of an inconvenience to have or not. If it wasn't expensive to keep I would keep it. I'd just wait to get something else because I feel like I'd regret getting rid of it later.
