X-Trail could have been that opportunity for Nissan to mark their great presence which is recognised outside India, especially in the Middle East and US Market, but yet again they have given us a mediocre product which will be priced against the likes of Skoda Kodiaq and MG Gloster, especially Kodiaq which comes with 2L 4C 200Bhp with DSG against the Xtrails 3C 1.5L engine which will always be stressed. So it's a no brainer for anyone in the market with 40-45L budget, they will definitely stay away from Xtrail.

This is a very good car and Nissan is the only manufacturer globally who have successfully developed the variable compression engine. This car will work 100% if locally manufactured. Nissan must take that bet to manufacture this car locally, else CBUs are levied with 100% duty on import, making it almost impossible to price this car competitively.

X trail - 17 Lac On road price will be Good enough for this thing which is E10 fuel compatible( current petrol)Only; only 1.5 lit. 3 cylinder engine; Front transverse mounted (like low budget cars); Garbage third row ; Nissan is not loved as a brand in India , It's good to compete with base 5seater700xuv petrol as its a turbo petrol ( E10 only, upcoming E20 petrol of India will kill this engine in 2026 .

This is just a 150 limited number CBU import which the corporate managers would just buy themselves. Remaining few other units goes to major showroom as a show-car so they can keep their Magnite sales momentum with a facelift this year till proper India bound SUV launch around 2025/26. With those limited numbers, I don't think it can never called as sales success/failure since their whole intention is to keep it as an attention garner to keep the momentum. One merit is that they can now do some India scenario vehicle testing and can think about localizing it in the future. The lack of features are to cut the cost of licensee registration (For example, their new infotainment uses Google as OS and they would need get licenses in India to use it) and I wonder the launch price would be!!

Hello Ravi bhaiya Meri daily running 75-80 km h and yearly 2 trip ho jate hain, to almost 25000km/year running h or is according CNG option better h Mujhe meri requirements k according Hyundai exter sx(o) AMT pasand h kyunki mera daily updown delhi to gurugram h. Mini SUV type looks and all features are available in exter. But my question is kya AMT varient mein outside CNG lagwana sahi decision hoga and AMT transmission ki maintanance kitni extra hoti h manual ke comparison mein Pls help me to choose the correct car 🚗

Suggestions: - Buyers should not prioritize piano black finish, sunroof, or CVT rubber belt effect. - The company should avoid cost-cutting measures in this higher-price segment. Observation: - The CVT rubber belt effect is noticeable when accelerating in RPM.
