Thank you for a more diverse view of my hometown. We all know the beaches and trailer parks have damage. But those of us who left our houses behind have no way of seeing if they are okay because the cameras are all down. Judging by the houses you passed I am going to assume my house is okay and there are some tree branches in the road.

SOUTHERN LIFE, I knew PIC TOWN Estates would get hit hard by this but DAMN, that was awful. I used to live there on 50th Ave Plaza West (yes that's a real address, welcome to Bradenton). I didn't get to see if the old trailer made it nor not. My wife and I lived there for about 6 years before we bought our current house, my father owns that property and a few others in PIC Town to this day.

@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS Yeah I remember Charlie, people were living in those FEMA trailers for over a year! I also fear that our luck in this storm is going to give people a false sense of security. Had that dry air and upper windshear not been there this would have made Andrew look like a walk in the park.

significant, many got lucky, others have critical structural damages to complete losses based on situation and home composition. My wife and I were one of the lucky ones, severe fencing damage, a few tree limbs snapped off, one completely disconnected our powerlines to the home, and the Samsung refrigerator we had outside as we were cleaning it to sell it since we bought a new LG one, was thrown (no joke) about 8 feet from where we anchored it.
