FYI the way OP did them constitutes running a red light. The road rules state that once you are in the hook turn lane, you are now considered to be part of the cross traffic stopped at their red light. You have to wait until *those* lights turn green before moving, not when the lights for your original road turn red, and certainly not when they turn amber. The whole reason for our hook turns is because of trams, and the rules are set out in this way because trams can and often will still be clearing the intersection when the lights change. What the OP did is very dangerous, and causes accidents.

The first one into Latrobe was even worse. Failure to stop right at the beginning too, and likely didn't give way to pedestrians a few times either (hard to judge with only forward view)

@@roamingNwatching you cant turn when the traffic light in front of you is yellow. need to turn only when the traffic light on the road you are entering into turns green. right now you are essentially running red lights.
