Very nice man! Iqaluit must be the only town in a lot of kilometers! Interesting video. Greetings from Trelew, Argentina. (The other side of America) ;)

LuLu Simpsons do people from nunuvut ever leave and visit other places such as America and England? I know many Canadians in general visit Miami , do people from nunuvut travel there in general?

It is similar to Churchill. These Northern towns are not boring and have amenities. What I like is there isn't the run away consumer culture. I wish ATV were street legal elsewhere.

Looks like a typical reservation in Ontario where down south we only use ATV's Snow mobiles etc as tools.

Why is real estate so expensive there? It should be super cheap! I get that there's some appeal to living there, but it's a limited one, and groceries and other goods are astronomically high, and employment opportunities are limited...so what drives up the real estate prices?

construction materials have to be either flown in or shipped via sealift in the summer season. the skilled construction workers are in high demand, and so have to be compensated accordingly. it is a government town, so there are a lot of itinerant employees and contractors flowing in and out, and insufficient housing, so the houses that do get built are bought up by longer-term employees of governments or inuit orgs who want the stability.
