Driving around St. Maarten 4 month post IRMA

Please take a look at the island of St. Maarten 4 month after catastrofic hurricane IRMA. There are a lot of places that open and fully operational as before. In this video you will not see those great places as we all know and remember how great the restaurants, cafes and beaches are. But there is still a lot of work to be done. I just want you to see it the way I did.I am sure everything slowly but surely will come back to normal.
Please come visit the island and help the economy to recover.

My beautiful #strong st. Maarten, they can say whatever they want about us but we have survived many catastrophic hurricanes following irma, we are a small 37 square mile rock that will stand whether they want to see us rise or not! I love my island and my people #longlivesxm

I just spent 3 weeks in St. Maarten. French side and especially the strip called Sandy Ground receive more damage and has a long way to go before it will be like it was before Irma.

The video was shot to capture OP's emotion, not a documentary. I have no issue with the sound track as it's reflective of the emptions everyone who visits will experience as they recover. Yes, this music can be emotional..... it's an expression of being human. Thanks for the video OP.....

My So Sweet Sint Martinland, what have we gain with this beating up of you so small and lovable Island which was my home as a kid in the 1950 thouse day we had 80 Card no more we storms then as well but what we have nowadays bigger Storms developing one heavier than the other. As I herd hurricanes are been made BY Man, this is preposterous!
