Steubenville is the hometown of Dean Martin who was a famous and popular entertainer in the 1940s, 1950s and 1960s. The homes in the first portion of the video before going downhill were attractive and well maintained. It appears that the road going downhill into the downtown (OH 43 I believe) looked like a nice section of road to drive on and it looked as though it was recently rebuilt. Lastly it appears that the downtown and the area near the historic site was being fixed up, some of the buildings appeared to have been recently renovated and there appeared to be one or two newer buildings.

Yea mate I hear you, after reading Nick Torches book on Dino , Steubenville sounded interesting but I suppose most US small towns back in the 40’s & 50’s had that aura. Great book & it actually looks good on film
