Wow .. Takes me back to my days of living in LA ! I worked as a Plumbing contractor....lived in the Valley....but worked in Beverly Hills/ Bel Air ....drove either Laura Canyon or Benidick Canyon every working day ! At the start of your videos coming up South Rodeo....we worked in a store opposite the Beverly Wilshire hotel ... Beautiful memories 🙄 Thank You 🥂

Yah this was a new route I've never taken. I'm trying to find new areas and realized I've never done Studio City. It's a pretty large area with nice homes where a lot of celebrities live. Glad you enjoyed this drive! Hope you're staying warm. I wouldn't be able to handle the Seattle cold!

As someone considering visiting LA in 2025 (from England). I found it encouraging, and refreshing, to view parts of the city that are not full of homeless tents and drug addicts. Those negative videos had all but put me off the idea of visiting. If anyone reads this comment and can offer intelligent, thoughtful and authoritative perspectives on the realities of life in LA today (and California in general, including Ojai) I would very much appreciate reading your perspective. I'm gonna be honest with you. As someone who lives in the US, you're gonna get that in any city around the world. I live in a different major US city, and we too have homeless. But one thing is, the homeless tend to stick in certain areas. Every city has its beauty and ugly sides. It just depends on what you wanna see. If you find yourself in the bad parts, chances are, you were there trying to buy drugs. Most of LA is fine, and you don't have to worry, and even I admit, it is a beautiful city. I just hate the politics and taxes. If it would ease up on how much they tax you, I'd probably live there. But with that said, I would say don't rely too much on what people are trying to scare you with, because we now live in a day and age where people count on that as an income. Just be aware of your surroundings like every other city and you'll be fine. Don't let someone's bias opinion sway you of having a good time, and I say that as someone who's a little more conservative.
