Driving California's Forbidden Highway 8K HDR Dolby Vision

This road trip up California's Forbidden Highway 39 to Downtown Los Angeles, nestled in the heart of the San Gabriel Mountains. This hidden gem has been closed for over 40 years and we are going to drive up to the top.
You can't drive all the way through. About 40 years ago there was a landslide that destroyed the road. So you can only go to the part where I stop right before landslide. You'd think after 40 years they would fix the road but nope which is why its considered the Forbidden Highway of California. Forbidden to drive, forbidden to fix.
Our scenic drive begins at the base of the mountains, winding through picturesque landscapes and revealing breathtaking views that have been hidden from the public eye for decades. As we ascend higher, you'll witness the raw beauty of the untamed wilderness, with every twist and turn telling a story of nature reclaiming its territory.
Along the way, we'll delve into the history of Forbidden Highway 39, exploring why this route was closed and the mysteries that surround it. From abandoned structures to overgrown trails, the remnants of the past will unfold before our eyes as we make our way up the mountains.
The real adventure begins as we reach the summit, taking in panoramic vistas that stretch for miles. But the excitement doesn't end there! We'll then make our descent, navigating the winding roads with precision and capturing the sheer thrill of the downhill journey.
Our ultimate destination? The City of Angels itself-Los Angeles! As the sun begins to dip below the horizon, we'll weave our way through the city streets, arriving just in time to witness the magic of a sunset over the iconic downtown skyline.
I attempt to drive every freeway in the City of Angels in under 2 hours, starting right from the heart of Downtown LA!
Starting at the iconic cityscape of Downtown LA, we'll weave through the bustling streets and embark on a high-speed quest to navigate through the intricate web of freeways that crisscross this sprawling metropolis.
From the 405 to the twists and turns of the 110, we'll hit every major freeway, showcasing the diverse landscapes and neighborhoods that make Los Angeles so unique.
Watch as I strategically plan my route, utilizing the intricate network of on-ramps and off-ramps to maximize speed and efficiency.
Along the way, we'll witness the breathtaking views of the cityscape, iconic landmarks, and maybe even catch a glimpse of the Hollywood Sign in the distance. It's not just a drive; it's a visual feast of everything that makes Los Angeles so captivating.

Ya it was fun to drive cuz no real intersections. I was amazed the number of cars racing up and down the highway like it was fast and furious. I was even more amazed with the cops just waiting to ticket all the speeders lol.

Its very scenci but it was a bit distracting seeing people driving those roads like it was a video game. A cop stopped 2 cars i assume for racing if you noticed that in the video.

They almost fixed it last year and even set aside money for it but then part of PCH collapsed and now that money is being used to repair Pacific coast highway in Northern california
