je dirais plutôt une des plus belles au Printemps car à l'arrivée ( ou au début... ) de Kapsodassos vous passez littéralement au milieu des fleurs 🤩 et puis quelle vue !!

@@rabh2534 Greece is littered with roads like this on the mountains, though the lack of even the tiniest of barriers makes this one particularly scary.

@@Coen80 we drove through similar roads in Crete. I loved it. On top of the mountains, with olives, goats and majestic views. It was quite scary though, and hot! I want to go back so much!

Drove it today (Jul 29th 2024) going downhill and it was epic and bone chilling and I'm happy to have done it but never want to do it again at the same time.

Over the past 30 odd years I’ve driven over the majority of the mountain passes in Switzerland and several in Italy and Austria but mainly, in most places, they had crash barriers and/or bollards and often had cambers to aid the spaghetti like bends. Here, you get nothing. You don’t get a road width suitable for passing vehicles and the surface is questionable into the bargain. As much as I enjoy driving mountain roads, this is not for me - there is a point where you say, NO!

It's hard to believe for me that this is the most dangerous road in Crete. There are unpaved mountain roads there.

This was a Fiat Panda 1.2 we hired for a one week trip at the beginning of April then we hired a Toyota Aygo for another trip at the end of April and did the same drive in it too

Me on Peugeot 108. In may this year. And there is more "nice" roads. From Plakias to Agia Galini on the beach road.... This is nothing... But the view is breathtaking. Unforgettable.

yeah, there certainly are many more dangerous roads in Crete (Greece in general) like the 'highway' on crete.. with its two lanes and maniac drivers. Shame Top Gear never came here in it's hayday.

@@circeastraia281 Seen him! Except we were driving UP and he was on his way down. Passing another vehicle can be very awkward because there is sometimes a twelve inch drop if you put a wheel off the tarmac; most cars would ground the chassis then you would get very stuck! The other worrying thing up there is that all the road signs have bullet holes!

People usually travel to enjoy the scenery.. Stuff like drifting is something 19 year old kids find cool. But obviously this road is not for that.

Sorry not buying it..@0.40 camera stops and picks up again, the speed outdrives stopping and reaction time of your line of vision. Obviously speed doctored for lulz. When we went to 1 vilage in the day I hired a taxi driver to take us in the evening and return pickup at midnight - even he was only doing 40/50 kph and it wasnt as bad as this road. Not buying it.
