The only problem I find with car mods is the weight. Take the charger for example, it flips over way to easy when taking corners at speed. Should be a way to tweak the weight to have them more planted to the ground

That's correct, and i have the solution for you! Just go to settings en change the brake intensity to a quarter, maybe it slows a bit slower down, but when you brake and turn, you dont flip anymore. Depends also on how sharp a corner is..

If this was simulating the uk's motorway network, there'd be 40 mph speed restrictions and road works everywhere , endless rows of pointless traffic cones, potholes that would damage the suspension, speed cameras and, above all, congestion related traffic jams. Uh, idk what you exactly mean by that, i went from the merging lane to the left to get myself on speed. And yeah, i maybe am not the best driver in this game. And yeah i drove a bit on the emergency lane, but was mostly to try not hit any ai vehicles. And besides that, it's just a game and overall i drive how i like.

Uh. i have 2 solutions 1. Go to settings --> Brake intensity and put it to a quarter/ 1 fifth. Then when u brake and steer a bit you wont flip, although, depends how sharp the corner is. 2. The car does not like steering, so then yea, dont drive to much faster, so 0-150 kph is good, above goes wild. And sometimes they drive amazing. The Aventador drives pretty good. But at 320 kph it goes wild.

Hi Penothy, I’d like to ask you something. I see that your car handles really well on the road. For example, when I have my car modded, it behaves more like a truck-if I go fast into a corner, brake hard, and immediately skid, it feels like the car doesn’t grip the road at all. Are there any mods or anything that could improve the driving experience? And if so, which mods do you specifically use for the physics and maybe even for the cars? Thanks!

Hey M4rk, The only reason the grip is so well, is because i play ETS2 in a older version then normally. From version 1.48.1 SCS gave the truck physics a change, to make it more realistic for a truck to drive. they made the truck be more slippery, and to make the truck less crashable and to flip over more less. The downside of it that car mods (who has the same chassis, but different differential, like more torque) make them spin faster and slide more frequently. I made this video in the version of 1.47.x , what has the old physics. That's how i can go up to 300 km/h without crashing. Only downside to that is that you drive an older map, but the car physics are way better and more realistic, plus all the car mods above 1.47.x work on the 1.47.x version, so you dont have to worry that mods are failing to work. Only thing is that car sounds may be a bit broken, but the rest is working amazing. Hope this helps! :)

Well, it's a bit complicated to Ai traffic, they move in a interesting way and they have "traffic flows" they drive in, like swtichting lanes they only do on some places, most places they don't/can't switch lanes since ETS2 logic prevented it not to switch lanes.

That's just ETS2 lore. I downgraded my ETS to version 1.47, there you have the old driving physics, what also works better for cars. Then you don't crash at high speeds because of a sharp turn.

Correct, that's when a lazy carmodder is so lazy to add realistic sounds that they add some sounds to make it look "cool," but it actually just makes it worse. I tried to add my own sounds to some files, but the SCS files are some complex i just can't add/make it work.

Uh, Ai read with a way if they can switch lanes and/if they can speed up etc. With some car mods they accelerate faster then they used to do, so when they brake, they brake slower then intended, so that's how they crashed.

Uh, yes and no. There are still some physics, but most of them are from the ETS2 Skoda. And some car do have own physics, but not all of them. Most is a copy and paste physics, but different 0-100 speeds etc.
