This is such a great video. Love your truck and your fir babies. I wish you and your family good luck in FL. California is getting crazy because of the blue politics. Getting expensive because of the high taxes. I think 2025 is going to be a good year. Love your new house. Very nice.

Panchito appreciate the video cuz you sure as hell didn’t have to. First time coming across your channel and now I’m subscribed. Great job on the editing as well. I’m looking to do a road trip myself from northern Indiana to palm springs in April. I have a 95 short bed. Working on having everything ready to do a trial run soon. I’m going to take the engine out and do a seal refresh. New water pump and thermostat. Maybe flush out the radiator. What do you think is a good modification to add to it to keep the temperatures low, I have not installed an electric fan. I’m debating if should try it, I’m still gonna drive like a grandma. But definitely don’t want to overheat. Good luck down there in Florida.

Im glad you enjoyed the video. Im considering upgrading the stock radiator to a large aluminum radiator to help with cooling before next summer. I noticed the truck temps go way up this last summer on hot days (90+), while idleing at street lights, & with the ac on. The new water pump & thermostat is a good idea. My water pump started leaking and was replaced with a new one only few months before this Xcountry trip. But that didn't really help 'improve' cooling. It just helped the truck get back to normal stock cooling conditions. Along with upgrading to an aluminum radiator, im considering a cowl hood. But the aluminum radiator is my first option. Wife already approved since she witnessed the truck temps go up while we were out running errands on a hot summer day. I'll mention the cowl hood next.. when the time is right. The 95 short bed sounds like a fun truck. How long have you had it? What engine do you have? Thank you for watching & sharing.

@@eseogpanchito I’m going to start looking for some options to do the same. I had the truck for a few weeks now. It was parked for a few years. I drove past it for a long time before I asked. Had a missing starter and stolen cat. So exhaust is pending. But I fixed it to get it running and I’m pulling the engine next week so since I will have the space I will definitely do the radiator too. It’s a 5.0 automatic. I would have loved a manual but I bought it for 1k. And the frame is solid especially since I’m up north. That is hard to find. 2nd

@MrJd829 Sounds like a solid truck. You definitely scored. It's always nice to hear another OBS gets saved. Your story is one that many of us wish we had the courage to do. So many vehicles I've driven by that are sadly just rotting away. My truck was also out of commission for a few years before I purchased and resurrected it. The one thing I also did right away (that many don't consider) was open the rear differential, clean out the 30 year old fluid, installed fresh fluid, new gasket, and new black differencial cover with new bolts. It was easy, fairly quick to do, looks great, & im sure the rear diff. gears appreciate the fresh lube. But i should mention that job can get a bit messy and smelly. Best wishes to you! Let us know if you post a video. A quick walk around of it would be awesome to see.

Hey, I just got a 92 f150 and drove it from Oregon to Arizona where it had been sitting undriven for 5 or 6 years. Random question, how did you get the seat to stay tilted forward? I don’t think mine does that and it was a pain to load. Maybe I just don’t know how to do it?
