Great video. We once travelled with my family from Joburg to Cape Town and took the same number of hours. I loved the views when we arrived in C.Town in the morning and the mountains before the tunnel were lit by the morning sun and there were clouds over the mountain range as well! That was a trip to remember!

nice video my broer!!.. i remember driving down from pretoria alone last year and it was brutal. Told myself i'd never drive back or forth again considering a flight only takes 2 hours at most for a few extra bucks. The drive from Colesberg through Bloem to Joburg is nice, the moerse drive is from Colesberg to Cape Town... The poes desert had me sweating bullets my broer!😂😂🤣😮‍💨💀

I know most people get surprised. Countries (mostly in Southern Hemisphere of Africa) have winter and it snows. It can get up to -20degrees Celsius (for example Sutherland in South Africa)

Travelled by bus from jhb to Cape town in 2016 l think it was called Intercape omg that was too long 24hrs had to book a flight on my return.....All the way from Australia.

We have Greyhound in the States as well. I've been to South Africa four times, and planning my next trip later this year. I actually drove for the first time on the African continent this year, my last visit to SA. It was a great experience. I want to travel there by bus next time and get the feel of traveling with the locals. Lol. Great video..

Yes Traveling by bus is the best because you get to connect with local people and see different places along the way. You must get a bus from Joburg to Cape Town or vise vesa I promise it will be worth it.

@@quintonkhumalo4119 I will do that. I did a long road trip in January and February from Johannesburg to Drakenberg, spent a few days there in Drakenberg. Then we continued our journey from Drakenberg to Durban. Then stay 2 weeks in Durban. Then from there we went to Zululand and went to the national park called Hluhluwe. Spent a few days there, then went to Nongoma and Ulundi, stayed overnight. Then travel to Port Edward's on the Eastern Cape. Stayed overnight. Travel to East London, stayed a few days. Then travel to this small town about an hour from Port Elizabeth. Stayed overnight. Then travel to Cape Town and stayed two weeks. Then returned to the US. That was the best experience I had and first time driving in SA.
