This trip begins along the West Chester Pike (PA 3) eastbound, east of the interchange between PA 3 and Interstate 476, which is locally known as "The Blue Route". The trip continues toward Philadelphia going through Havertown and part of Upper Darby. The trip ends looping around in Upper Darby. This part of Suburban Philadelphia began growing when new homes were built in the 1920s. The lots that were not built on in the 1920s were then built on in the 1940s after World War II ended. Many of the folks who live in this group of close in suburbs are from families who are from Greater Philadelphia and have lived in the region for often times three or four generations. This video completes the trip along the West Chester Pike from West Chester into Philadelphia. This trip was in Delaware County.
