I remember hearing about that brutal heat wave that plagued the Pacific Northwest back when pretty much everyone was still in lockdown. Then I heard about those devastating wildfires, including the one that destroyed Lytton. The burn scars are still there.

Thanks for all your videos. I have made a virtual road trip from Ontario, CA to Canada (via Wendover) and then back again (via Reno). I hope to be checking out BC in a couple of years. Lytton is one place I hope to visit as I sympathise with the town's plight, being from Australia. It's mind boggling to think this town recorded a temperature just below 50C, hotter than most Australians have experienced (our record in our capital cities is 'only' 48.9C, compared to Lytton's 49.6C).
