Driving From Oakland, CA To San Jose, CA | I-880 South On The Nimitz Freeway | 4K Scenic Drive

Hello everyone, and welcome back to another video. Today, we will be driving from Oakland, CA to San Jose, CA while traveling along I-880 South, which is known as the Nimitz Freeway. Interstate 880 is one of the major freeways in the San Francisco Bay Area, running parallel to its eastern shore. Most of the freeway is called the Nimitz Freeway, after it was named in honor of World War II fleet admiral Chester W. Nimitz, who retired in the SF Bay. This video starts off at the I-880 and I-580 interchange, which is just north of downtown Oakland and is where I-880 in the Bay Area begins. The route ends at the I-880, CA-17, and I-280 interchange, which is after the San Jose airport exits. Additionally, we will also travels along small sections of I-280 and US-101 while going near downtown San Jose.
