First few minutes made me homesick. Born & raised in Oregon...spent a lot of time along the coast too...so beautiful and peaceful. Moved to Arizona, has it beautiful parts...but nothing like Oregon. You talking about the weather woes lol...I've seen it sun, rain, hail, and snow in one day...more than once in my lifetime, lol. Oregon is beautiful but the gloom for so long finally got to me. Drew, this is, I think, the best video of the Oregon coast that I have seen. The off season months are a great time to be here but be prepared for quickly changing weather. I live in Brookings, Oregon and wouldn't live anywhere else, but my days of having a career and raising kids are behind me and so that is my prerogative. Your driving on the beach made me nervous. First time watching this channel. It’s funny, I’ve been watching other campers and overlanding channels of KZbinrs. Unlike “primal outdoors” or “soft roading the west” other Oregon KZbinrs. This guy is more bougie and way less rugged. His gear and kitchenware is more yuppie than what I have in my kitchen at my house. Lol Just goes to show you all KZbinrs making similar videos will have a way to appeal to different folks. It’s also cool since this might expose someone to trying camping when they see they can have luxury outdoors. Thank you for the video Drew. Stopping on every scenic spots down the memorable drive. Veered east to the Wildlife Safari then to Crater lake then to painted Hills and back home. It was the most memorable drive/trip I've ever done. From Sea Lion caves to surfing on the sand dunes to the unbelievable sunsets. A memory I will never forget and will always cherish.
