Valparola is a very beautiful secondary alpine pass, close to the more known Falzarego. Took it also in a roadtrip through the area in 2010, unfortunately the weather was not so good as in your case. Brought back nice old memories, thanks a lot, a pleasure to see it again, greetings from a fellow creator and roadtripper from Germany!
