Hi, yes, you are right. Tried it during my last trip, to Croatia, the quality is much better as you don’t have the windshield in between, which adds reflections and can get dirty fast. From now on I am filming with the camera outside the car. However I still have many older videos to share with the camera in the car.

Great drive! That bridge that you crossed at 1:24:13 to 1:24:50 was the site of collapse of the former Ponte Morandi where it killed 43 people and 16 were injured on August 14, 2018.

Hi, indeed, the bridge was then rebuilt quite fast. A big tragedy.
