I walked for hours, I don't remember how far, I saw the grey faced staring blankly ahead, going somewhere but never finding happiness, I crossed streets empty of traffic, I looked up at the sky for signs of impending rain and saw white skies above, promising nothing but coldness as I felt the skin on my soles beginning to crack, my throat parched until I saw my quest, I fell to my knees and sobbed uncontrollably as I blinked at the sign: Burger King.

The lack of greenery in these western business districts is very painful. Go to any developed city in Asia such as Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, or any Chinese cities you'll be greeted with lush greenery everywhere. I still love Canary wharf nonetheless. I think the Isle of dogs is the best place to live in London and the UK.

Daniel Arnolf There's either something wrong with your path or with my ggl mps. What I get after clicking the link is just the itinerary between the origin and destination but not the specific path he rode, actually a proper detour call it touristic. Becomes clear when riding between poplar station and billingsgate market. That part does not appear on the path shown. Will have to reconstruct for myself. I reckon it got lost in software update confusions and changes.
