It's been 50 years but I remember the entire route you drove---a few buildings have changed! I lived at 1301 E Garfield form 1 until 18 then 2 years at 915 e Roosevelt ---which you almost drove by. A real adobe house from the late 1800s with water channels above the windows for cooling!. I didn't see the downtown YMCA that I thought was North of the San Carlos but South of the Westward Ho?
