Driving in Pune : Was this Two Wheeler Rider at risk by being in the blind spot?

When you are behind a huge vehicle such as a truck or bus, then both sides till the front wheel are blind spots. For small and medium size cars you risk being in the blind spot if you try overtaking from the left side, as the driver has a comfortable and better view of right side.
