3:14 There's a very nice pizzeria on the left side. 3:34 Valley on the left goes up to Realp and the Furkapass, also the Gotthard pass forks off from that road. Valley to the right goes down to Göschenen and eventually to Lucerne, via the beautiful Axenstrasse, the road to the Sustenpass also forks off from there 8:45 The drive up to the Oberalppass from Andermatt looks quite flat and underwhelming, but you have to consider that you are starting very high up. 10:05 Many trains in Switzerland have these panoramic cars, usually in 1st class. Some of the mountain trains consist only of panoramic cars. 11:10 These are snow anchors. Hardly pretty, but they give the snow something to stick to. Not really, but I have lived in Switzerland for four years. Been up and down there at least four times. Ive done most passes in eastern Switzerland at least once.
