What a beautiful Sunday drive the weather is exceptional.
Where was the camera placed? There were no wipers and the lens stayed pretty clear. Well, wherever the camera was placed, well done. Thank you.

Thanks - it's a technique I've used for years now. Suction mount on hood of car with a GoPro, works best when wind is blowing at the camera sweeping the raindrops away

@@EarthUncutTV I did notice it was better with the wind at your back. But still, dang good. Thank you.

I live in Kaohsiung, and that day I was too scared to step outside. How did you manage to capture such an incredible shot? It’s amazing!

Thanks for watching - yeah staying inside is the smart thing to do. I've covered close to 90 typhoons over the last 20 years so have a lot of experience in operating in environments like this.

Ignorant question: in a storm like this, what speed can the wind reach?
@dijek2 ай бұрын
Probably 75-90mph sustained winds, with 100+ gusts a possibly more
@Andropov19822 ай бұрын
@@dijek Damn!! And usually, how many days does this madness of nature last?
@dijek2 ай бұрын
@@Andropov1982 depends on the speed of the storm honestly. fast storms take a day or a night to pass but slow ones can remain over affected areas for days. this one made landfall in southwest Taiwan - which is a rare occurrence since the southwest of the island doesn’t see direct landfalls from cyclones as often as the east side does.
