Hi Alan. I have really missed your update videos, please keep the videos coming. Love seeing how you and Tyler are getting on. Philippines looks a very honest country, basic way of living but very pleasant. Wish we could have it like that in the UK.

The Philippines isn't always a 'very honest' country to be honest. Having lived here for more than one year, I have been scammed by the LTO 3 times (twice in one day in Manila). We've also been scammed twice by some people (which my wife knows) who plant our crops. If you a 'whitie' you are fair game to be fleeced and scammed whenever possible. When getting my new driving licence, the official said he would keep the change (500 PHP). I laughed and thought he was joking.... Corruption is 'rife' here unfortunately.

I'm in Bulacan atm and the traffic towards Malolos is the worst I've ever seen, and the fumes from knackered old jeepneys will put you in an early grave, can't wait to get to Bohol where the traffic is lighter and the air is cleaner.

Alan been subbed for many years love your videos, but although that country looks amazing and the people look nice, i aint driving on the mad max roads, im five mins from a b&q and Halfords and asda and a costa, im 20 mins from Loch lomond and three hours from the Lake district, im staying right here, dont take this the wrong way, your the right guy in the wrong place 🙏🙏

Sir, I wish you try Pangantucan - Valencia mountain road, and Lantapan -Malaybalay mountain road, only up to where the cement ends if you don’t have 4x4 ._____. GOD Speed

Hi Alan! It's probably impossible for you to do now, but it would be nice to see EGR Valve clean video on a Mondeo 😁

I have been driving here in the Philippines for a little over 2-1/2 years my main annoyance are the drivers that counterflow ie drive against the flow of traffic. It is just so dangerous.

The ADAS in my Corolla Cross would have a mental breakdown driving around Bukidnom with all those motorbikes and road critters getting in the way. See your getting a bit of a North Queenland tan Alan.😀😀

Hi mate, Hope you're well. Even though I've been in the Philippines for 1 year now, I have only just got my driving licence here. You are right the process is very easy. Medical, which was blood pressure but no eye test. The main concern for me is all the motorbikes and tricycles having no lights on at night. The amount of times I have either had to break suddenly or swerve. Lost count how many bodies I've seen along the roads who have been knocked of their motorbikes. Very scary. However, I know you will agree the scenery is breathtaking driving around. Ps renewed our car insurance last week. 21K PHP fully comp for our 1 year old Ranger. Yes, the LTO queues are funny. Great vid mate.

No drug test? A urine test used to be a prerequisite a few years ago ...
@tyremangoАй бұрын
@britinoz4305 Nope. Not even an eye test. Just blood pressure. I suppose it depends on who's doing it and where and if they can be bothered.

As they dont wear helmets on bikes and you got concrete ditches with a bit of drink driving with the locals when it goes wrong, it goes wrong and ends up with fatalities. A difference I have found is they post graphic photos of the person in the ditch dead laying there in a pool of blood posted on face book. At least its a sober warning.

The most used part in motor vehicles the bigger cities in the Philippines is the horn as they seem to toot at intersections or trying to get into the line of traffic!

Ive driven in the Philippines a fair bit over the years in our city of Lipa in Batangas, I found it pretty ok. Over the years roads and infrastructure has improved ,even adding traffic light at junctions!!!! The road condition has gone from dirt track or gravel to much better conditions than here in Essex. The worst place ive driven was Sicily, Complete Chaos!

Alan you need to get a 50cc, AR50, DT50 kind of thing.

I know we moan here in the uk about speed limits and cameras. But it's for safety and order.

Driving is pure hell, I live in New York City I thought it was bad driving here, but the Philippines are the worst hands down, many many accidents, many hit and run, roads, infrastructure is in terrible shape due to corruption, most of th highways are only 2 lane roads, no street lights at night.
