I remember years ago, when you got to Parham Road on West Broad Street; was like you got to the city limits...West Broad became a two lane road and the light poles stopped.

That's the truth! I remember when Broad street went to two lanes at Pemberton and Springfield, and Innsbrook and Short Pump were all rural. Costco was Price Club and was located near Richmond Ford. Now the Short Pump sprawl is out past the Goochland line.
