I’m sorry I didn’t do the ride back. It is easier to follow one of the locals giving rides both in and out of you have never been there. The difficulty is about the same both in and out of

Thank you so much for sharing your adventure with us. Any chance you can post the ride from the beach back to the parking lot please. TYIA

I am sorry I only video'd the way in, we did not do one for the way out.

No worries, I enjoyed watching your video. I am assuming as long as we follow one of those trucks in or out we should be ok. Again, thank you

When we visited green sand beach (almost 10 years ago 😱) there were only 3 cars in the parking lot and a guy with a jeep approached us telling us about the long walk and the rough road… we didn’t know about it but also didn’t trust him.. until a family arrived with their car and quickly jumped into the jeep and was gone heading to the Beach 😲! Luckily another car arrived, carrying 3 elderly women and soon another jeep returned from the beach! We all climbed into the jeep, the guy run the engine connecting the cable (😅🙈🤷🏻♀️) and we went off the beach! The road were bumpier then what we could have imagined so the experience was worth the money!

really not worth it to accidentally bottom out if not careful. All it takes is one and poke an hole in the transfer case, transmission or engine pan.

You are correct, I would never recommend self driving this unless you know what you are doing and have a true 4x4. I did this in a Colorado ZR2 with full skid plates. This was only to show people what it was like to drive in. The most dangerous part is actually being careful not to puncture a tire on the lava rock by scraping the side walls over the sharp rock.

@@letstraveltogether8747 True braddah , forgot about those sharp lava rocks can be real problem!
