Driving in Ukraine around Kyiv City | Obukhiv highway

Obukhiv Highway reminds me so much of Canada's Prairie Provinces (Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba) as you see flat grasslands and farmlands of the Pontic Steppe everywhere. For a relatively poor nation, Ukraine had high quality highways prior to the current Russo Ukrainian War. Ukraine's highways almost remind me of American and Chinese counterparts as the number of billboards increase as you get closer to the major cities in spite most of them being empty. Their highways are much better than most of Canada. Slava Ukraini!!

The last three years in Ukraine there has been a large construction of roads, schools and hospitals. But now the Russian fascists have destroyed our infrastructure and even entire cities. I am sure that after our victory we will quickly restore Ukraine and make it even more beautiful. Thanks to Canada for our support in this war!

Even though Ukraine has lower GDP per capita, it has an amazing modern highway. This happens when the revenue of the country is fully utilized well for the development of the country and its people. Too bad, Ukraine is at war right now and the infrastructure is damaged by war.

We are confident that in the coming months we will defeat Russia in this war and restore the infrastructure. Now Ukraine is receiving huge financial assistance from many countries and I hope that after the restoration, Ukraine will become even more beautiful.
