Driving in Upper Swaledale, Yorkshire, slowtv style

Drive the lanes from the moors above Keld, along Swaledale, through the villages of Thwaite, Muker and Gunnerside.
Swaledale is in the Yorkshire Dales, England and famous for the incredible scenery, drystone walls and stone barns that are all across the valley.
Filmed 'slow tv' style, the sound is turned right down, and there is no other editing.
Enjoy this country drive at a relaxing pace. It's a rainy day but the scenery is stunning nonetheless. I will erturn on a sunny day to film again!

My goodness, where is everyone? There was only one pink leisure suit clad lady going to the dustbin and she seemed frightened by your car. Otherwise only sheep, a few cattle in the distance and one chicken crossing the road. And you only passed one other vehicle. I don't think there is anywhere in the States this would be possible, even in the middle of the night. The scenery is lovely but a bit melancholy in the rain. Than you for sharing your drive with us.

It was filmed at around 07.00 after a stormy night, so perhaps it is no surprisevery few people were up and about. Yes it is a bit melancholy in this type of weather but I will return to film when it is sunny. Hopefully soon, but sun and the Dales don't always go together!
