I was born in El Paso many years ago and want to revisit soon. I hear it's a cool town and sometimes snows in the winter. And housing is extremely affordable. Love your videos!

Love and miss my hometown ❤ one of the safest cities in the country, and one of America’s best kept secret. It’s a very large city, but most people think it’s a small town. Also, it’s very true what you said - most people think it’s a dangerous, run-down city but are impressed to see a very safe and well-developed city.

I was stationed there, it's not as safe as your claiming..lots and lots of thieves... everyone has bars onbthere windows, lots of gangs on the eastside. Still I do miss it at times especially the food and beautiful women..

@Ericson97 I just wanted to recommend going to utah first then texas because west Texans are not civil or nice at all and when you go to Texas just be warned people Heavily judge you by what you drive so stick to American Trucks suv's and nothing else

If want a good view of El Paso and Juarez, you should go up on Scenic Drive, I would suggest you do that in spring or summer as it gets pretty cold during the winter.

Hello there from Chihuahua Capital. Cd Juarez was indeed one of the most violent cities (ranked) because our previous presidents tried to get southern mexican cartels up northern mexico and resulted in the drug war. Today is a different story... you will see as the years to come how Juarez gets back on track. Many people from El Paso crosses the border because the fuel is cheaper in Mexico and food. Inflation is lower in Mexico ... etc. Who knows, maybe we will back in the days where these two sister cities live happy.

I dream about a day when we can unite again and have public transportation going across like the old trolleys. One day it will happen our people on both sides are connected not only by blood but also culture.

El Paso is HUGE! it's Texas's quiet little secret. I want there for the first time of many back in 96 and was shocked to find out it was more than Pueblo churches and tumbleweeds. They had 7 million people back then between El Paso and Juarez, I wonder what it is now.

Looks like you're nearing the end of the longest Interstate stretch in any one state in America (almost 900 mi. in the Lone Star State on 10; almost 800 in California on 5 being the next-shorter one, IINM).

Born in downtown El Paso in 1956 it was a great place to grow up and speaking of Juarez i was such a regular at a bar called El Submarineo that I could actually run a tab if I didn’t have any drinking money I’m talking I was still in high school. People would say your the only gringo Iv ever known who could do that.

LA is less of a surprise than El Paso though. Most people have a perception of El Paso as being much smaller and not as nice as it actually is.
