Cost of living is lower in Knoxville/ East Tennessee due to things like very low property taxes, low insurance cost, and lower than average cost of goods and services.

Asking because I live in knoxville my land taxes are 1300 and go up a 1 each year..my dad lives I'm blaine and his are 400 a year..I wouldn't say land taxes are cheap
