Utah is the jewel in the crown that is the Transcontinental Railroad. 150 years ago the Golden Spike was driven in the ground here at Promontory linking this nation together. Today although it has been rerouted UP still maintains the line and every day millions of trains arrive at The Yards of North Ogden or at Roper in Salt Lake bringing the goods that keep this nation running.
