18:20 and 25:00 The spectacular view there always amazes me! There's also the region of Lavaux nearby that has even more amazing sights. The view alone is absolutely worth the visit there!

Interesting place. What I see is alot of what looks like very well built buildings and structures. The town looks very well built and put together with lots of mostly nice cars. City transport bus's look really nice and modern. Looks like a pretty big place. Now what am very curious about....is where did this town get all the finances to build all those structures??? They look like they are built to last many years. ???

Lausanne is at the same time an older city and newer. Like Ll cities that develop there is financing that takes place. Lausanne is also a university city with a well known campus that attracts to this. Glad you enjoyed the ride! 🤗

Shame the route wasn't as well-considered as it could have been. If the drive had been slightly earlier, coming in the opposite direction along the lake (from time index 27.50 onward) would have been far more beautiful, with a magnificent vista of the Alps tinged pink and red from the setting sun. Additionally, a drive past the hotel Royal Savoy would have permitted a quick glimpse of some additionally interesting buildings on either side.
