@hengx alternatively can contact Mr. Lee Chee Keat at 012-789-1445 for Thailand car insurance. Unfortunately Mr. Lee's office is in Changloon. Ask him if he can courier the insurance to you before you depart for Thailand.

Question 1 On top of vehicle grant, you will need the owner to write out a Letter of Authorisation and bring to the nearest Balai Polis to get it certified true copy. The sample can be found here:- www.scribd.com/document/426803507/Thailand-Car-Motorcycle-Authorization-Letter-From-Owner-Sample Question 2 Twice I had driven into Thailand, I was never at any time asked by Thai Authority to show my Malaysian Driving license. I guess it is OK. Just stay within speed limit, an on their highway, do not speed as trailer can make a U-Turn in the middle. Bear in mind also there are people living along the highway and their vehicles may cross the highway. Safe speed is 70 - 80kph. Driving that speed minimise petrol consumption as Thailand Benzene-95 fuel is expensive. Enjoy driving in Thailand and have a safe journey.
