Haha i miss my '97 Craftsman Die Hard. it was very fun and fast when I full throttle, it wasn't modified so it had just the rabbit and turtle speed throttle, and a 6 speed manual clutch. Fun to drift and drive on snow. It was a great lawn cutter in summer and great toy in winter 😂

That is awesome!!! I have an MTD single speed FNR transaxle that I'm trying to mod, what gear ratio inside the transaxle would you recommend for 40MPH (64KMH)? Ill either have a 6 inch pulley on the motor, and a 5 on the transaxle, or a 3 1/2 on the transaxle.

Question, quand tu dit " 6 vitesses " les tracteurs à poulie comme ça semble tous être faite pareil, c'est bien la CVT? Alors pourquoi tu dois appuyer sur la "clutch" pour changer les vitesses? Car sur mon tracteur, pour changer les vitesses, c'est un petit bras sur le tableau de bord de 1 à 6, selon la vitesse choisie ça change la distance à laquel la clutch vient vers toi. Mais comment tu fais toi? La pédale que tu mets remplace le petit bras que tu déplaces et si tu vas toute en haut tu à le choke? Car si tu remplaces ce petit bras par ta pédale, le choke fonctionne comment? et quand tu appuies sur la clutch, pourquoi ça ne freine pas? Car normalement le frein du tracteur s'actionne quand tu appuies sur la clutch. C'est beaucoup de questions, mais j'apprends encore beaucoup, Merci!

@@MisterdionneYT exactement! Mon bras c’est Avant, neutre et arrière, avec un petit bras que je bouge de haut en bas pour choisir entre 1 et 6 pour la poulie CVT. Donc mise à part Changer de bord la poulie, Choisir au préalable une vitesse, je suis mieux de me prendre de quoi avec 6 vitesses! Haha

This is nothing new! I used my original.Craftman lawn tractor from 1995 as a daily driver from 2014 until 2022 without no modifying. Its not a problem as long as you service it and takes care of it. I still have the same lawn tractor today and it works perfectly fine. I still use my lawn tractors on the road around where i live because its like you say in this video very fun to drive lawn tractors. Please keep up making these videos!!! 👍

I have been using my lawn tractor around on the local roads where i live for over 10 years both in the summer and winter time before i got my driving license. Usually nobody cares that i ride my lawn tractor on the road here where i live because everyone is used to it now but a lot of tourists are looking on me like they never have seen a lawn tractor when i drive on the roads in the summer time 😅 I have never used it to work since i live 10 km away from work but locally i have used it a lot on the roads and still do sometimes, i've also got a almost new lawn tractor from 2022 and use it on the roads too 🙂

The thing is, it doesn't matter that the switch wasn't working, the engine didn't not shut off because of the overrevving because a gasoline engine runs with spark so really, the switch would work as long as the wiring didnt get ripped up, i love these videos so much dude, keep then coming, howdy from ohio

You’re confusing diesels with gasoline engines, gasoline engines need a spark to ignite the gasoline which allows the engine to run, however diesels can run purely off compression alone also fun fact diesels don’t have spark plugs as compression from the cylinder is enough to cause combustion but with gasoline if you cut spark the engine stops if it doesn’t then someone wired something wrong because no matter how high you rev a gasoline engine once you cut spark it dies and the technical term for over revving is called a runaway which usually only happens in diesels because of what i mentioned above and unless you can figure out a way to cut the air supply the engine Will grenade itself and cause catastrophic damages!

simple you need a on and off switch ! there is a wire that comes off of the coil you run that wire to one side of the switch doesnt matter wich one and the other side you ground it on the mower frame and thats it ! on is off and off in on (when you make the connection it kills the mower )

Did bro just say the GoPro is not water proof? unless you have an older GoPro that requires a waterproof case like the hero 4 which I doubt you have since your video is 2160p60 which is 4k@60fps your GoPro is definitely water proof/resistant Ik because I have the hero 7 silver, the hero 9 black, the hero 11 black and the hero 12 black and all 4 are water proof/resistant as long as the cover for the hero 7 charging port is closed and the battery doors for the later models are closed even with the removable lens it’s still water resistant cause it’s completely sealed around that area, so don’t be afraid to get the GoPro wet!
