This game does look pretty fun actually. It's basically an extraction game with procedural generated maps and the goal seems to be to... upgrade-marathon your car. Which I can honestly get behind because I just love chasing upgrades and making numbers go higher, like getting new parts for new upgrades in monster hunter. Also I'm a hoarder in all my games so going out and just collecting stuff is kind of my thing. I just hope the gameplay loop doesn't get stale in the long run.

This game does look really neat, it basically seems to be My Summer Car meets S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Very interesting premise and mechanics, though as Tomato noted I hope they add a flashlight or at least make it available much earlier.

I think this game looks really cool, but I can't help but feel like these kinds of games would work a lot better without so many disembodied voices expositioning all over the place while you're trying to play. I appreciate all the VA's efforts and the time it took to write all this stuff, but I dunno. If I were to make the obvious comparison, the zone in stalker feels mysterious and forboding, the zone in Pacific Drive does feel like that at times, but as soon as the radio powered exposition kicks off it starts to feel more like taking a guided tour through a reality bending themepark. It's still probably a very good game, worth every bit of money they charge for it, but I feel like the disembodied voice in your giving you exposition / lore dumps trope is something that is present in way too many games like this.
