I'm a big fan of the West Coast videos, but this was a nice touch. Having driven to and from NYC for decades, it's funny to watch something so familiar. We drove cross country in 2022 NY->Huntington Beach, so seeing some of your west coast content elicits "I've been there". But this video is more "I know that nightmare, I've sat in that traffic MANY times" and all of the four letter words that go with driving in Manhattan.
@jutah8 ай бұрын
glad you enjoy them! ive done cross country one. la to the east coast. want to do it again. may do amtrak one way and a rental car the other. and yes. my favorite par tof this drive is the manhattan skline from 78. amazing views

I love your drives man! NYC was a cool place to visit, but having lived in San Diego and now ATL, I definitely prefer the laid-back lifestyle and warm climates those cities offer. I went to NYC in January and it was so cold I couldn't stand outside for more than about 30 seconds lol.

I've lived in Northeastern New Jersey my entire life and I grew up flying out of EWR. This is such a great video, great work! But here are some notes to everybody who don't live here: don't be fooled by the nice-looking appearance of the new Terminal A. EWR has always been a shitshow of delays and overcrowding, it's just Terminal A that looks really nice. The drive to NYC from NJ is also horrendous a lot of the time. The only time there isn't traffic is later at night, super early in the morning (I'm talking 5am or earlier because at 5:30 the roads are already starting to get jammed up) or on a Sunday morning (which is when I usually go). There is just ridiculous amounts of traffic in this region of the country. I've been all over the country (LA, Chicago, Houston, Boston, DC, etc.) and I have yet to find a city that has the same amount of congestion as NYC. The roads also suck because they're really old and they have a lot of cracks and they aren't very large; the state governments haven't fixed up the infrastructure because of corruption and whatnot. So just be prepared: if you visit the region, know that getting around is difficult.

It’s pretty tilting that you decided to go on the holland tunnel instead of the Lincoln tunnel because if you were to take interstate 95 North Turnpike N. towards eastern spur, Lincoln tunnel, you could’ve been gone on to New Jersey 495 and then you could’ve gone onto the Lincoln tunnel, which then dropped you directly into Times Square.
