Tusen takk for opplæring fra SDS Hansteen. Mye ny detaljer for meg. En spørsmål, er det lurt å gjenbruke bortskrapet bek? Jeg bare etrerdriver og det er ikke mye trefliser I bek skrapet vekk. Jeg gjenbruker den bare for andre lag av bek, for første bruker jeg fersk ren bek.

Interesting, so when I was taught to caulk decks the aim was not to boil the pitch, so the Pitch would not be brittle and would be more elastic and be able to move if the boat flexs. Also you could never scrape back the pitch like you do, it is far too Gummy. Very neat finish your guys way though, I like it.

Must be hard on your knees scrapping all that pitch off. You should also consider kneepads since you're already suited up.
