What an incredible journey! 🎉 It's so weird that the North is in full fall colors and we have barely begun here. Love seeing all of your NuCamp swag too. ❤ -western NY Troy & Aimee

@@OurFulltimeAdventure That's like being on an airplane and experiencing an endless sunrise or sunset, as you keep on travelling in the same direction. ....but you get Endless Autumn. Well, not really endless. Thanks for showing us that North America is huge, and beautiful.

The Dempster Highway is probably in worse condtion in the spring when there is frost heave. As a Canadian who likes the winter and does not find 3C too cold, I could never do that cold water plunge. You both are VERY brave. Well done. Those wild horses were beautiful. I have never been able to determine if Inuvik's wind direction plane (17:02 in your video) has any historical significance or not. Do you know?

The water was definitely chilly! We’ve heard throughout the year the road worsens or gets better. We didn’t find out if the wind vane had any significance either but it was definitely awesome!

They actually aren't wild horses, but they belong to an outfitter who has his operation in that area.

It’s not sad to see a fire that’s as part of the natural process that we try to suppress for whatever reason. It is sad to see infrastructure set up around risk areas that put people in harms way.

At Two Moose Lake, if you look across the valley, in the direction of Inuvik, you can see what looks like a rhinoceros on the hillside. You actually captured this in your video!

Nice video! We drove to Tuktoyaktuk in July, much warmer mid to upper 70's for highs. The water temp was 66,pretty warm, so we did take a swim! Six years ago we drove the Dalton Highway to Deadhorse. We had planned to swim , but it was cold 31 air and 29 degrees water temp. I regretted not swimming then, so was not passing it up this time! The roughest section on the Dempster was the 7 mile hill area. We found the Northwest Territories' roads were graded the best, smooth, but very Dusty. Did get a small leak in one of our trailer tires, I plugged it a few days later.

That sounds like such a fun journey. We wanted to head up the Dalton but we saved some adventure for when we make our way back to Alaska one day. We loved the entire drive of the Dempster. Our truck pretty built up so there wasn't a section of the road that was too bad but we also were running up on graders doing maintenance too. Would you say you preferred the Dempster over the Dalton of vise versa?

Was hard to tell for sure in the video, did your ducks at 2 Moose lake look like the Loon on the Canadian $1 coin?

They were quite far so we didn’t get the best look at them. They ran out right when we got on the viewing platform.

Hi! do you think a 40ft 5th wheel can go all the way to Artic Ocean thanks 🙏

Hmm I think it could but I’m not sure if it makes sense. Might need a few spares and a lot of patience. A lot of people with larger rigs tend to leave them in Dawson City and then drive up without the rig and stay at hotels or tent camp!

Being an untouched point for years, there was fear of an invasion of outside influence. I can see tons of ways for locals to make money as a resort, but I don,t think they are that interested. They are more interested in hunting and fishing. Bless them.
