Hello beautiful people! To cap off my trip to Shikoku here’s the second episode of “Driving Solo in Japan” I honestly fell in love with Shikoku Region and I hope I’ll have the chance to visit once more next year.

📍 Ehime Prefecture
Ehime is a Japanese prefecture covering the northwest quarter of Shikoku Island and dozens of smaller islands in the Seto Inland Sea. In Matsuyama, the prefectural capital, a cable car and chairlift rise to Matsuyama Castle. Established in the 1600s, the castle is set on a plateau in verdant grounds. ♨️ Dogo Onsen is one of Japan’s oldest hot springs, with a spa resort centered on its 19th-century public bathhouse.
📍 Kochi Prefecture
Kochi Prefecture, on Japan’s Shikoku Island, is a largely rural area known for its mountains, rivers and Pacific beaches. Capital Kochi City has one of Japan’s best preserved feudal castles, Kochi-jo, established in the 1600s.
📚 Kumo-no-Ue Library(Yusuhara Town Library)
Kengo Kuma's Works in Yusuhara Town was built in 2017 as the showpiece of Yusuhara's concept that people and nature can co-exist and prosper. Constructed from local wood.

This is my frist experince with Shikoku Region and always remember it's name next to yours! I always how inviting and peaceful small towns are! Ehime prefecture made me feel like that in every first sec! 1:55 this is really my kinda art! Well Welcome prefecture where nature and sea meet! This library is almost a reflection of that! Looks like a really unique experince! (First video that I've seen from you was "Life in Japan: Exploring TOYAMA | Glass Art Museum | Fugan Canal Kansui Park | 富山市ガラス美術館" That would be great journey If I could start to learn Kanji, Hiragana and Katakana :D 5:37 to 07:12 watched a feww times
