Really great drive. I did this same drive starting in Lausanne in 1998 and this brings back fond memories. I’m from Ohio and would love to move to Switzerland!

There are 3 Cols de la Forclaz. One near Martigny (this one), another between Queige and Ugine and the last (that I know of) overlooking Annecy Lac. Collect the whole set. :-)

Hi, great video with stunning views to Mont Blanc Massif, enjoyed it a lot to see it, as I drove once there, but in the other direction, and weather was very bad, it was raining cats and dogs and we couldn't see too much from one of the most impressive mountainous landscape from Europe. Cities which lie on the borders have their own charm, especially if they are surrounded by mountains. They say that Switzerland is considered to be most beautiful. But I feel that Chamonix (surrounded by mountains) is more charming.
