Driving the Gorges du Nan, France

The Gorges du Nan is a spectacular road in the Vercors Regional Natural Park in France. The road, numbered D22, connects the towns Cognin-les-Gorges and Malleval-en-Vercors. The highlight of the road at 4:40 gives us stunning views whilst driving along a very balcony narrow road. Breathtaking!

Aaargh! I've stayed at the Hotel Le Marronnier in Rencurel many times and didn't know about this road. It's now on my list for the next visit.

Just seeing the road does not do this drive justice. The Google Earth Street Views on this route are amazing! I am preparing to attempt to make similar videos here in California using three Hero8 Blacks. One out the front windshield and one each looking out to the right and left from my exterior rear view mirrors with GoPro clamps. There's just so much to see off the left and the right to include in such a video. Not diminishing at all what you do for us all. I know I could never afford to fly to France, rent a car, and take this drive. A 360-degree camera recording this drive would be fantastic. Thanks so much again for your generosity.

Hello, are the Nans gorges possible by car, because we have the impression that two cars cannot pass each other, because the road does not seem very wide... It seems possible by motorbike , but in a car, it doesn't seem easy to do...🥴😵😵‍💫
