It sounds cool but the reality is pretty lame. They don't let you take it out of third and make you brake 30 metres earlier than you need to. You get instructed by a bunch of idiots who don't really know anything about driving other than the racing line and lift off oversteer

@@CaptJofaz lol in reality that layout is short. They pick up the pace later but the camera makes it slower. These cars are much faster on that track, especially in the wet

@@callumdean I've driven there. In person it is still lame. The cars they have on offer are practically castrated by not being allowed to take it out of 3rd. My car would be faster around the track because I would be able to actually change gear

@@CaptJofaz I drove there today, they do let you push the cars very hard, but they judge your driving first. Not everyone is a great driver and safety is the priority, so unless they are confident in you, they will reign things in. I pushed the M3 very hard on the track today, it felt great. I then drove home in my M6, so I do know about driving fast cars. They keep it in third as it the best suited gear for most drivers and the cars, they are dealing with novices, as this video clearly shows.

@@mikesw87 mate you can't drive the cars hard in third gear. I've seen plenty of people who think they're great drivers because they can mash the pedal to the floor on the motorway in a car with a lot of power. Doesn't translate to driving on the track. Post the footage and we'll see how hard you drove it. My bet is you weren't even 80% of the way to the car's limit round the bends I prefer to do my track driving in my own car at a track day. Maybe you should try it one day so you can feel what it's like to drive at the limit. You might enjoy it
