I like how this still has a strong resemblance to the old SJ. The tall body and short wheelbase will compromise it's road manners but I would expect that off road or is probably one of the most capable off roaders available. I think a fairly entry level car so long as you have AC will make a lot of financial sense for anyone needing such a car for local journeys. The renowned Japanese reliability is appealing too.

They’re brilliant, aren’t they? I can really see the appeal and the one I tested is still going strong as a working vehicle every day I think it’s nudging 90,000 miles or something… and still worth a small fortune relative to its age and condition.
