My last ride before I got so bad, I had to retire, was a. W900 Limited Edition, 18 speed behind a 725hp,kitty 373 rear gears studio sleeper, TV, DVD, remote control radio fridge, coffee pot in my reach for red lights and stops. 400 gal fuel take you down the ribbon far. All diamond tact,black leather interior. Caddie of big cars. Good quiet muffler. No rattles or noise in cab or sleeper.

Shifting on point man!!! Little tip for you, dont engage your clutch while the rig is moving, thats what burns em out real quick. Through her into neutral and stop with the brakes...good habit to get into.
@martin12345123454 жыл бұрын
That's why clutch brakes are usually non existent in company trucks. Super frustrating. Especially if you have a pto you have to engage.
@rubyrandhawa44213 жыл бұрын
Wooofffff..... have a look at open transmission, nothing wrong wen you engage full clutch, it hurts only if inbetween....... n 4 your info only, its mechanic who do 10 tramsmissions in a month...... tnx

I wish more guys on you tube would use this method.

OK. After seeing the 'Driving out of Philedelphia' video, I was wondering why your camera was stating the speed in 'kmh' and not 'mph' or even 'kph'. Having seen this video with all the 'Arret' signs, I realised you were from Canada. When I saw you drive across that monster bridge, I did wonder if that was the St Lawrence you were crossing. Checked where Lasalle was and it seems I was right with that guess. Thanks for the vid and 'Bonne route' RubberDuck.

Myself also excited to see how smooth the shifting goes without using the clutch. what exactly is different about the eaton fuller transmissions? When I tried shifting my VW Golf without clutch it grinded bad so I let go of it and used the clutch again :D. Greetings from Germany. Happy Christmas time and happy new year! Keep on trucking! I appreciate you guys wherever you are hauling goods for the people
@Nobluffbuff7 жыл бұрын
lockergeil Your car is modern, and the transmission has gear synchros. It's not good to float gears in cars. The transmissions in big trucks (like the Eaton Fuller trans) have gears which are always connected together, so rev matching to float through gears is no problem. However, you can seriously damaged a transmission doing this incorrectly. This driver has no problems.
