Watching from the U.S. We lived on Hudson road in the 50s. Colpetty is so different. I recognised St Michael's church which is dwarfed by tall buildings all around. We visited Sri Lanka several times and our last visit was in 2019 with 14 Australians on a 9 day tour of the island.. Our home for the the 4 days we were in Colpetty was the Cinnamon Grand Hotel .We would love to visit again!

This video is made because people are working time... you come to Sri Lanka.. observe Kelaniya, Dematagoda, Maradana and Colombo Fort railway stations from 6 to 9 in the morning.. and also bus stops.. and in the evening from 4 when the office ends. 5 or 5.30 till ..and school closing time from 1.30 to 2.30 Colombo is very busy.. people are in offices.... .people come to offices in the morning from many outlying areas...

It's not sree lanka sri lanka spell it in a right way an , there is nothing to compare with india Mumbai is another city colombo is another. except threewheelrs and buses and bicycles most people use japanese vehicles I never see full of indian vehicles here Even the people using indian vehicles cause of their economical situation otherwise most sri lankan don't prefer indian vehicles

@@stinnywee1945 I never mentioned gdp of sri lanka and india India has large economy for sure as highly populated country in the world but average indian standed of life even behind to sri lanka I mean in this comment indian vehicles are affordable for low income people but they even mostly prefer european or japanese vehicles but for their financial situation theye able to have indian vehicles. Even we are fastly recovering from the crisis for this year we have +2.2% growing economy with verious challengers.arccoding to asian bank reoport we will have stabliesed everything within next year so we are too growing as a nation 😌
